Substituted for Prout at third base in a game in Kansas City on August 13, 1913. The next day, the Kansas City Star reported "Harry Wilson, the hard hitting infielder and outfielder of the Kellers, has been signed by the St. Louis team of the Federal League. He played one inning for the Terriers yesterday" (August 14, 1913, pg. 8). The Kellers were a club in the Inter-City League, a semipro league with clubs in Kansas City, Lawrence, Atchison and Leavenworth. Wilson was hitting .480 in 12 games and 50 at-bats (Kansas City Star, August 9, 1913, pg. 7).


On August 13, 1913, the Terriers played Kansas City in Kansas City. Prout started the game at third base, batting thrice before being replaced by a player identified as Wilson in the box score. Wilson pinch hit in the eighth inning. The St. Louis Times reported "Manager O'Connor has signed a recruit from Arkansas named Wilson, who got into the game to-day long enough to bat, fall down running to first, and play for one inning, but he did not get a chance" (August 14, 1913, pg. 4).
